SEASONAL BLOG ENTROPY

Overdrawn on energy, underfunded on inspiration; a sense of more effort going in than there is personal return coming back; a sense of offering little to all but a small group of friends & pessimism concerning the prospects of ever expanding the blog’s constituency.   All sure signs of Seasonal Blog Entropy!

Normally the Sisyphus Principle holds sway & one simply keeps on keeping on, sustained by a momentum that is unchecked by the realities of near-zero growth. And then, unanticipated & thus out of the blue, Seasonal Blog Entropy strikes. 

Normally, all that is required is a little R & R back in the Real World. But I am a little concerned at the increasing incidence of bouts. So it's time, then, once again, to await the passing of the current cloudbank & to consider the options: work on the poetry? write that novel? watch more TV, repair the bike & explore the lanes? Or rely on simple addiction to have me back at the keyboard, even if running on empty…
